WALNUT BOTTOMS HUNTING CLUB -
Hunt 600 acres of Ohio River bottoms with corn and bean fields, thick cover, woods, or sloughs for Trophy bucks.
Membership limited to 6 hunters only. 
2017 only 2 memberships now avaiable.

KentuckyDeerHunt offers "walk out the door" on-site lodging for "bow only" hunts at the MUHLENBERG BOWHUNTING CLUB with thick cover, mature oak woods surrounded by bean and corn fields. Only bowhunting restrictions since 2010.  The Muhlenberg Club was closed in 2009 to gun hunting and has limited management gun hunts. 

Bow hunter MAY obtain reservations to also hunt at 
WALNUT BOTTOMS property in Henderson County if
annual memberships are not full - BUT NOT DURING GUN SEASON.

Read the fine print and hunt policy:
 

Hunters waive all liability for injury, damages or loss and execute Complete Waiver of Liability Release and Indemnity Agreement.

  • Hunter responsible for own safety equipment, license and deer or turkey tag.
  • Balance of Deposit due 30 days prior to arrival unless other arrangements are made in advance for payment on arrival.  Deposit forfeited if balance not timely paid or if hunter is unable to hunt.
  • Hunter arrival and departure date and time required. 
  • Additional add-on day of hunt, if available, charged at pro-rata charge for a day of the hunt package. 
  • Hunter arrives evening before first day of hunt for sign-in orientation and departure evening after last day of hunt.
  • Non-Hunter lodging, if available, charged at $20 per visitor and subject to all rules and requirements of hunter.
  • There is no trophy fee for bowhunts, but rules limits harvest to a "Trophy Buck" with bow for P&Y net minimum score (130 - 8pt; 150 - 9/10pt; 160 - 11pt or better). 
  • Gun harvest has a trophy fee of $5 per inch and B&C net minimum score (130 - 8pt; 150 - 10pt; 160 -12pt or better).
  • Penalty of $50 per inch/$300 maximum for harvest of lesser buck under either net score, including button bucks; and may result in forfeit of hunter/group's hunting privileges.
  • Hunt terminates when hunter shoots a buck until located, if not able to locate or "bad hit", hunter only hunts that buck or a doe, BUT NO DIFFERENT BUCK.
  • Repeat Discount: Hunter hunts next season (same days) at 10% reduction of package price if no buck harvested and no "bad hit" lost buck. 
  • Repeat Hunter must pay full deposit prior to departure AND balance paid by March 1, IF UNPAID, or forfeited. 
  • Annual Bowhunting Membership subject to limits for conflicts with package hunts. Non-local is more than two (2) hours travel time from property.
  • Package Pricing may change so please retain copy of pricing page as cofirmation of pricing information of your intended package cost and terms.
  • Keep property and facilities in clean and "stink" free as possible, and as you find, remove your trash, and treat as if it is your hunt club, since it is.
